Unlocking the Standard Lesson Commentary

You already have Logos Bible Software installed on your computer. No? Then try this instead.

Now you only need to redeem the serial number found on the grey surface sticker on the survey stub using the steps below.

Redeem the serial number

1. Go to www.logos.com/redeem
   If Logos.com asks you to sign in, do so and you will be redirected back to the redeem page.
2. Find the survey card bound inside the front cover for your Deluxe Edition, and use a coin or key to scratch off the grey surface to reveal the serial number (the last three digits will end in QTH). Be careful to not scratch-off too deeply and destroy the characters printed below the surface.
3. Type-in the entire serial number and click the orange ‘Go’ button.
4. Your Standard Lesson Commentary is now activated to your account.

Confirm Logos version is up to date

1. Confirm you have the latest version of Logos Bible Software by running setup (Win) or installing a new Logos application file (Mac) from www.logos.com/install.
2. Once installed, open Logos.
3. Logos will automatically download the Standard Lesson Commentary.

Note

The download process may take a few minutes. Please look to the top right-hand corner for a small blue notification circle with a number inside. If after 10 minutes you do not see the notification circle then click the open book icon in the top-left and type the word “standard” to see if it has already been downloaded. If you do not see it there follow the steps at https://www.logos.com/support/desktop/missing-resources to make sure Logos Bible Software is setup to receive automatic updates.

How do I access the Standard Lesson Commentary “DVD Content” ? 

Mac |

1. Click the link to download the zipped folder http://www.standardlesson.com/download/standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19
2. Double-click standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19.zip that has downloaded to open it¹.
3. Open the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder.
4. Open the subsequent folders to view their contents.
5. You may need to open a series of folders to find the file you are looking for.

Windows |

1. Click the link to download the zipped folder http://www.standardlesson.com/download/standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19
2.  Double-click the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19.zip file that has downloaded by double clicking on it¹.
3. Ignore the folder named _MACOSX.
4. Click and drag the file named “standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19” to your Documents folder, or another location you wish the files to reside.
5. Open the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder.
6. You may need to open a series of folders to find the file you are looking for.

Viewing the contents of the .zip folder

1. Double-click the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder to open it.
2. Open the subsequent folders to view their contents by double-clicking them as well..

7. The content you may be looking for may be a few layers of folders.

¹Both Windows and macOS come standard with the ability to open .zip (zipped) folders. All you need to do is double-click the zipped folder and the file in the zipped folder will appear.
